Hawaiian Applique - Halfway Point!

Via Flickr:
I've been working on this on the go...and maybe I should stop working on it in the car, based on some of the lousy curves, but it's all good! I'm learning as I go :)

I'm right handed and working counter-clockwise. The stitching begins at about 4:00 and ends at 10:00. I'm taking a class by Nancy Lee Chong on Quilt University, and loving it!

  1. I love that you are taking a Nancy Lee Chong class (I really got a lot out my class with her even though I still don't do much applique). It is well worth it. Looking beautiful!

    1. I am really enjoying it. I'm getting my money's worth for sure (class was only $37 I think). I had tried to do needleturn before and while it wasn't ugly it wasn't fabulous either. The pictures, directions and little video clips from class have been really helpful in improving my skills.
