This is such a fun project, I'm looking forward to the next clue!

Candace, I could never pin a quilt on the floor, my knees won't take it! If I had a really big quilt I'd just take it to a long arm quilter, LOL.Mishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09314559952986103703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4789776275762267821.post-64728731322474556562011-12-06T15:27:56.194-08:002011-12-06T15:27:56.194-08:00Your orca Bay will be lovely even in the smaller s...Your orca Bay will be lovely even in the smaller size, i enjoyed seeing what you have done.karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05015037008180726504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4789776275762267821.post-82653886730493027492011-12-05T11:52:23.048-08:002011-12-05T11:52:23.048-08:00Wow, these look great! I ...I love seeing the HSTs all laid out like that. I use the Sharon Schamber board method too, but am limited to my 6 foot table. I'm getting ready to baste a big quilt, and will probably try laying it out on the table and clamping it down and then move it around until I'm done. Hope it works out ok. Can't do the floor crawling very well anymore, plus I don't have an empty floor big enough.Candacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07282145706665260731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4789776275762267821.post-39036253953946591652011-12-03T18:58:30.698-08:002011-12-03T18:58:30.698-08:00Oh goodness, Debra, I could never do that!! I saw ...Oh goodness, Debra, I could never do that!! I saw a Sharon Schamber video awhile back about how she bastes quilts and I do that for anything bigger than about 40". She rolls the top and back up onto separate boards.

Eventually I'll spray baste quilts on my new design wall. I can't do that just yet, however, as the rest of the room is in total chaos still and there are things that would suffer from overspray.Mishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09314559952986103703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4789776275762267821.post-3086394436271374552011-12-03T18:42:35.543-08:002011-12-03T18:42:35.543-08:00Very nice, Misha.
